Jasmine is a young journalist and activist in South Africa, who founded The Ocean Times Community Newspaper to counteract the bad publicity and negative coverage that youth in her community were getting.

She started at a young age as a reporter and then head of the news department at Bush Radio, which led her to want to do more. Jasmine is working for a future where the disadvantaged people within marginalized communities in South Africa have access to meaningful and well paid jobs and the dignity they deserve.
