PARTICIPATION

The cost of the retreat includes expert guides, regional transportation, shared-room accommodation in a gorgeous coastal setting, and delicious organic meals at Channel Rock. Participants are responsible for personally organizing their flight travel to/from Campbell River, British Colombia. Water taxi fee to Cortes Island is not included in participation fee at this time, but Synergos will aspire to arrange this transport on behalf of participants, dependent on group arrival times.

COVID-19

We will follow all Canadian government mandates.  Attendees must have proof of completion a full course of Covid-19 vaccination and set up an ArriveCAN account before you travel. To get an ArriveCAN receipt, you must submit your proof of vaccination, travel and quarantine plan details within 72 hours before your arrival to Canada.

Attendees must have negative PCR test result at least 72 hours before boarding the water taxi from Campbell River to Channel Rock, Cortes Island. 

Attendees assume all risks and hazards associated with participation in the event, including, but not limited to, the risks associated with the COVID-19 or similar type virus. They recognize that the above safety requirements may not prevent the spread of COVID-19 or other illnesses. To the fullest extent permitted by law, attendees agree to waive, release, and discharge any and all claims, causes of action, damages, and rights of any kind, including serious injury or death, against Synergos, its insurers, the venue, any contractors or vendors, and all of their respective employees, agents, representatives, and volunteers arising from participation in the event.
The event’s Covid-19 requirements may change.

TRAVEL RECOMMENDATIONS

Participants are responsible for personally organizing their flight travel to/from Campbell River, British Colombia. For international flights coming into Canada, this will most certainly mean changing planes in Vancouver. We recommend from Vancouver to fly into either Comox Valley Airport (Code: YQQ) or Campbell River Airport (Code: YBL). You will have to change terminals at the Vancouver airport, from North Terminal to South Terminal, to get one of the recommended flights below. Please allow a minimum of 3 hours to change terminals, as this will include going through customs in Vancouver and catching a taxi to South Terminal.

When arriving at Campbell River Airport or Comox Valley Airport, there are no taxis waiting outside the airports. You have to call ahead to arrange for one to be waiting for you.

Retreat participants will be hosted by Synergos Board Member & Global Philanthropists Circle member Elliott Donnelley at Channel Rock on Cortes Island. Accessible by foot or boat only, Channel Rock’s 140 acres of forest preserve offers an unparalleled space for deep reflection and regrounding.
