I am Phyu Sin from Dawei which is the southern part of Myanmar and currently I am
working for Local Resource Centre (LRC) as Regional Coordinator. LRC is a NGO organization that
established to assist humanitarian assistance when Cyclone Nargis occurred in Myanmar in 2008.
Now LRC is working for to get more civic space supporting Civil Society Organizations and
community leaders so called Change Agents during the democracy journey of Myanmar.
During the Covid 19 pandemic, I am also involved in Dawei District Covid 19 Response
Committee organizing health education and Covid 19 health care kits in the communities,
providing food support to quarantine centers and hospitals, and spraying at public places and so
on. LRC also supports to Civic engagement civil Society organization networks to response Covid
19 pandemic supporting health care workers and front lines volunteers.
